Rebecca Wright - Board Member

I was born and raised in Colorado until I got married and moved overseas, where I had my two wonderful daughters. We eventually moved to Texas and then to Wyoming, where my mom joined us a few years ago with my younger brother to be closer to our family. My husband and I have guardianship of my younger brother, who has developmental disabilities. Growing up with him and watching him struggle and be misunderstood throughout his life has deeply motivated me to become an advocate for those who don’t know how to advocate for themselves.

My daughters are now in junior high and high school and growing up so quickly! My husband and I absolutely love Cheyenne and plan to make it our forever home. I currently work on FE Warren AFB, where I love being able to help the Airmen and their families every day. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and our cats. I’m incredibly excited to be part of this wonderful community in Cheyenne and to help provide a welcoming environment for everyone. I truly believe that everyone deserves to live their lives to the fullest, and I’m proud that The Arc is helping individuals do exactly that every day!
